Section 3.4 - Historic Timeline

A historic timeline is proposed to encircle the Rose Bowl on the concourse level. It will start at the Southern end with the creation of the Tournament of Roses, and will feature moments in Rose Bowl history defined at each seating bowl tunnel entrance. These entrances will be integrated into the concept of a stadium with a wide brick history timeline, and will be marked with a terra cotta number above the openings, in place of the existing applied non-historic markers. Pavers of different sizes and materials will be part of a grass roots civic fundraising plan, and will be the physical basis for the timeline.
