Rose Bowl Stadium Prepares for
USC vs. UCLA

IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO FANS
Attendance for the UCLA-USC game at the Rose Bowl Stadium on November 17 is expected to reach 90,000 fans. Stadium officials are expecting an increased number of vehicles on game day, and, as a result, heavy traffic and congested streets. Parking will be extremely limited at the Rose Bowl Stadium. Fans are urged to consider carpooling or taking public transportation. Parking will only be available to only those patrons holding tickets to the game.
The Rose Bowl Stadium parking lots will open six (6) hours prior to kick-off for general parking. Overnight RV parking is not permitted. In order to provide a safe environment for all fans attending the game, increased security will be noticeable throughout the parking lots and inside the Rose Bowl Stadium.

Reading the traffic and parking advisory below will help fans to understand expected traffic and parking conditions when planning your trip to the Rose Bowl Stadium.
The Stadium staff is committed to doing all they can to enhance the fan experience on game day.

TRAFFIC & PARKING ADVISORY
Parking permit holders need to follow the directions on the back side of the permit. When parked, said permit must be visibly displayed on the dashboard. Fans attending the game that do not have a parking permit should please follow the recommended routes. We recommend that you enter the parking lots from the North.
From Downtown Los Angeles via the 110 Freeway:
- Take the 110 Freeway North and merge onto the I-5 North to Sacramento.
- Merge onto the 2 Freeway North to Glendale, then the 210 Freeway East to Pasadena.
- Exit Berkshire/Oak Grove, Arroyo Blvd./Windsor or Lincoln Ave./Washington Blvd.
- Follow the "Rose Bowl Stadium" signs or continue/proceed as directed by traffic control personnel.
From the West via the 101/134 Freeway:
- Take the 134 Freeway East towards Pasadena.
- Exit Linda Vista/San Rafael
- Turn right on San Rafael Ave.
- Turn left on Colorado Blvd.
- Stay right under the bridge onto Linda Vista Ave.
- Turn right onto Salvia Canyon and proceed to parking lots as directed.
From the North/San Fernando/Simi Valley:
- Take the 210 Freeway East towards Pasadena
- Exit at any of the following three exits: Berkshire/Oak Grove; Arroyo Blvd/Windsor; or Lincoln Ave/Washington Blvd.
- Follow the "Rose Bowl Stadium" signs or continue/ proceed as directed by traffic control personnel.
From the East, San Gabriel Valley, the Inland Empire, San Bernardino or Orange County via the 210 Freeway:
- Take the 210 Freeway West to Pasadena
- Stay right towards San Fernando
- Exit at any of the following three exits: Mountain Ave/Seco St; Lincoln Ave; or Arroyo Blvd/Windsor Ave.
- Follow the "Rose Bowl Stadium" signs or continue/ proceed as directed by traffic control personnel.
THE SHUTTLE
Fans are encouraged to take advantage of the free round-trip shuttle originating in Old Town Pasadena at Parsons Engineering, located at the intersection of Union Street and De Lacey Avenue. The free round-trip shuttle to and from the Rose Bowl Stadium will begin four (4) hours prior to kick-off and end 90 minutes after the game, continuously. The parking fee at Parsons Engineering is $12.
PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
The Metro Gold Line runs from Downtown Los Angeles to Old Town Pasadena on game days. The Metro Gold Line Station is approximately two blocks from the free round-trip shuttle stop to and from the Rose Bowl Stadium.
Please visit www.metro.net and search “Gold Line” for light rail information. Fans wishing to use the Metro Rail should take the Gold Line to Memorial Park Station. The free round-trip shuttle is located two blocks from the Metro Rail at the Parsons Engineering Building located on Union Street and De Lacey Avenue in Old Town Pasadena. Shuttle buses will be run continuously to and from the stadium beginning three (3) hours prior to kick-off and until 90 minutes after the game.
GENERAL PARKING
GENERAL PARKING is located on the north side of the Rose Bowl Stadium on Brookside Golf Course. The game day parking fee is for $20 per car, and sold on game day only. Parking lots open six (6) hours prior to kick-off.
RECREATIONAL VEHICLES (RV) & LIMOUSINE PARKING is $50 per recreational vehicle or limousine. Parking is available day of game only and opens six (6) hours prior to kickoff. Any commercial passenger car, SUV or van with a California TCP license plate is considered a limousine.
All RV and limousine parking is located on West Drive or as directed. All RV and limousines will enter the Rose bowl Stadium by way of Salvia Canyon from Linda Vista Avenue. From the 210 Freeway exit the Berkshire Avenue/ Oak Grove Drive off ramp. Follow the "Rose Bowl Stadium" guide signs to Salvia canyon, then as directed by traffic control personal. RVs and limousines entering the Rose Bowl Stadium via any other route will cause significant delays.
DISABLED PARKING is available at various locations throughout the Rose Bowl Stadium parking lots and is filled on a first-come, first-served basis. All disabled vehicles must display a valid State of issuance disabled placard and registration upon entering the parking lots. All ID’s and placards will be checked and verified by a police officer upon entry. Disabled parking is also available at the Parsons Engineering Parking Lot, located at Union Street and De Lacey Avenue in Old Town Pasadena. All round-trip shuttle buses are wheelchair-accessible.
BUS PARKING
Bus parking is free in Lot I and opens six (6) hours prior to game time.
PARKING LOT POLICIES
- All general parking lots including RV parking will open six (6) hours prior to kick-off.
- Overnight parking is prohibited; this includes RV parking.
- Parking lots close 90 minutes following the conclusion of the game.
- Parking is first-come, first-served. No saving of parking spaces is permitted.
- In and out privileges are not allowed.
TRAFFIC TIPS
Traffic Tip #1: Use Public Transportation and Use The Shuttle.
Traffic Tip #2: If you are planning to drive, please carpool.
Traffic Tip #3: There are multiple freeway exits that will get you to the Rose Bowl Stadium. No one exit is better than another. If traffic is backed up at your exit please proceed to the next suggested exit. See Suggested Routes.
Traffic Tip #4: Please make sure to disable GPS devices. GPS or internet-generated directions are generic and designed to get to the Rose Bowl Stadium via the most direct route. Following GPS or Internet-generated directions will mean that most patrons will exit the freeways at the same exit, causing extreme congestion.
