Since 2011, the City of Pasadena has invested more than $165 million to modernize the facility and to allow fans to better enjoy their visits.  The multi-phase construction project is now 95% complete with the most recent completions of a brick donor plaza, renovated Court of Champions and enhancements to Gate A.  Future work will focus on improvements to additional gates, the stadium service yard and the North concourse.

Over the past four years, the infrastructure in the Stadium has been upgraded as well as visible enhancements for fans.  In addition to a new video board and the South and East score board restorations, ten LED panels are now part of the Stadium, along with ten clocks, new aisles and handrails, expanded tunnels for easier entry and exit, improved bathroom facilities and a new broadcast building.  The electrical, plumbing and sound systems have also been upgraded.

The crown jewel of the renovation is the Terry Donahue Pavilion.  The enormous structure is home to 54 Luxury Suites, 48 Loge Boxes, 1200 Club Seats, state-of-the-art press boxes and a new broadcast center.
