Street Closures: The Boy Scout Youth Expo will not include any street closures, however the East and West Extension will be closed to parking.

Street Closures: The JDRF Walk to Cure Diabetes will involve a Rose Bowl Loop closure, as well as the Arroyo Boulevard Extensions. Seco Street will remain open for east and west traffic at all times.

The Equestrian Loop will remain open at all times.
Sound and Amplification: For the JDRF Walk, amplified sound will occur, however, the noise ordinance will not be waived for this event and sound levels will be monitored by a sound technician. 

It should be recognized that those who live on the rim closest to the Rose Bowl Stadium, will likely hear sound associated with this event, but as indicated this will not be in excess of the noise ordinance regulations.

Similar to last year's season, there will be a brief use of pyrotechnics 30 minutes prior to Kickoff as well as when the team runs onto the field and during the National Anthem. (Total pyrotechnics display may be heard for under 20 seconds). In addition, there will be a 5 second air horn blown simultaneously to the pyrotechnics, 30 minutes prior to the start of the game.

Sound Check and Rehearsal: Brief sound checks and rehearsals will occur sporadically from Thursday, June 2nd - Thursday, June 9th.

Noise Levels and Sound: This event will bring the usual impacts on the nearby neighborhoods such as traffic and noise. There will be enhanced noise from 4:30 PM to 10:00 PM on the following days: Saturday, June 4th, Tuesday, June 7th and Thursday, June 9th. 

Lighting Hours: Due to the soccer matches, for safety and security purposes, stadium lights will be on throughout much of the night from Thursday, June 2nd - Friday, June 10th, and will be turned off at the earliest time each night. 

Recreational Activity will be closed at 10:00 AM each match day.
The Equestrian Loop will remain open at all times.

Rose Bowl Stadium Construction Lighting - May 23-26, 2016

The Rose Bowl Stadium is now in the final stages of its multi-year renovation project and is entering the testing part of the project. This week, Monday, May 23rd - Thursday, May 26th, the stadium will be completing power shutdowns and testing, which will require additional concourse lighting to be on throughout the night, for safety and security purposes.

Noise Levels and Sound: This event will bring the usual impacts on the nearby neighborhoods such as traffic and noise. There will be enhanced amplified music from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM on Saturday, May 14th. The noise level for this event will be high, consistent with past events of this nature. As part of the show, there will be the standard concert pyrotechnics that will be both seen and heard from outside the Rose Bowl Stadium.

Lighting Hours: Due to the concert, including preparation and tear down, stadium lights will be on throughout much of the night from May 13-14, and will be turned off at the earliest possible time each night. In addition, the stadium will be conducting a re-sod of the field and will also require lights to be on, for safety purposes, until complete.

Recreational activity will be closed nine (9) hours prior to concert, beginning at 10:30 AM.

Due to broadcast coverage and Rose Bowl Stadium safety precautions, lighting will remain on inside the Stadium and in the parking lots throughout the night, beginning December 29, 2015 - January 2, 2016. The lights will be turned off as soon as possible on January 2, 2016.

Week Day Game - Residents can expect high traffic volumes during evening commutes, with highest volume between 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM and should plan alternate routes if possible. Efforts are in place to encourage fans to arrive at the Stadium prior to 5:00 PM to help minimize conflict with commuters.

Recreational activity will be closed nine (9) hours prior to game time, beginning at 9:00 AM.
The Equestrian Loop will remain open at all times. 

There will be a brief pyrotechnic rehearsal on Thursday, October 8th between 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM with minimal associated noise. On Saturday, October 10th there will be a brief use of pyrotechnics during the trophy presentation at the conclusion of the game. (Total pyrotechnics display may be heard for under one minute, approximately between 8:30 PM - 9:30 PM.) 

Due to the soccer match and the R.G. Canning Flea Market on Sunday, October 11th, a limited amount of lighting will remain on in the Stadium into the night, beginning Friday, October 9th - Sunday, October 11th. The lights will be turn off at the earliest possible time each day.

At this time efforts are being made to park all vehicles on the golf course and at remote locations. The Rose Bowl Stadium has been placing a heavy emphasis on carpooling and taking the free shuttle to limit the number of cars in the Arroyo. However, if parking lots are full, which is expected for this event, we will need to begin last-resort parking by allowing fans to park in the adjacent neighborhoods accordingly. The neighborhoods will be fully staffed at that time.

UCLA vs Arizona State Football Game - October 3, 2015

This game will feature a Naval Jet Plane Flyover during the National Anthem provided by the Naval Air Station Lemoore.

There will be music and speech amplified throughout this event, however there will not be any amplification prior to 8:00 AM.

There will be a street closure associated with this event around the Rose Bowl Loop. The closure begins at 8:15am and is expected to last until approximately 11:30am. Pasadena Police will be deployed to assist with managing the road closure on the Rose Bowl Loop. There will be barricades in place on the streets and manned by personnel.
