Drop-off & Pick-up Policy at the Rose Bowl Stadium
The drop off and pick up policy (including patrons with disabilities (ADA) at the Rose Bowl stadium fluctuates based on the crowd size at the stadium/Arroyo Seco and whether a spectator shuttle system is provided to patrons. There are displacement events wherein all activities in the Arroyo Seco (including Kidspace, Rose Bowl Aquatic Center; Brookside Park and Brookside Golf Course) are suspended. Generally speaking any event in the Arroyo Seco with a crowd estimate over 20,000 people is considered a “Displacement Event.” For displacement events a spectator shuttle is usually provided, all shuttle buses are wheel chair accessible with either a wheel chair lift or a wheel chair ramp. Most often the spectator shuttle is free of charge; however, on occasion there may a fee charged to ride the shuttle buses. Generally, the Parsons Engineering Parking Lot in Old Pasadena is the designated location for the shuttle bus park and ride. The designated drop off for patrons that will ride the shuttle buses is on Holly Street between Fair Oaks and Raymond. Patrons are dropped off on Holly Street at Fair Oaks and make there way to Holly and Pasadena Ave to where the buses load, depart from and return to when taking passengers to the Rose Bowl.
For the non-displacement events at the Rose Bowl, generally events with crowd estimates of less than 20,000, there is a designated drop off in the Arroyo Seco. Depending on the event the designated drop off and pick up location fluctuates and is designated to be at the closest most convenient location for the patrons attending the event.
