VIZIO BCS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

The 2014 BCS National Championship will take place on Monday, January 6, 2014 between the Florida State Seminoles and Auburn Tigers.

Please note: All persons attending the VIZIO BCS National Championship must have a ticket for admission, including children regardless of age.

Parking

ROSE BOWL STADIUM PARKING

Parking is $50 per car at the Rose Bowl Stadium for the VIZIO BCS National Championship. Cars are parked on a golf course, north of the stadium. There is no reserved parking and cars may be stack-parked in rows of five (5) on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking lots open at 8 a.m. Other than designated overnight motorhome parking, there is no overnight parking at the Rose Bowl Stadium. In-and-out privileges are prohibited in all parking areas. Once you exit the parking lot, you will be required to pay the full parking fee upon re-entry.

PREMIUM SEATING PARKING

Parking is available for all Premium Seating holders in Lot 5A and 5B. Lot 5A is designated for Luxury Suite and Loge Box holders, while Lot 5B is designated for Club Seat holders. Each lot will be identified by signage with its own entrance on game day. In the event of rain, the golf course lots may not be available for parking. Instead, street parking will be managed by the Pasadena Police Department. In inclement weather, please check the BCS Game Day Central or follow the Rose Bowl Stadium on Twitter (@rosebowlstadium) for up-to-date  parking and traffic information. Be sure to allow yourself additional time for parking or use the VIZIO BCS National Championship Shuttle.

RV PARKING

Motorhomes will only be allowed into the Rose Bowl Stadium area via Linda Vista Avenue and Salvia  Canyon Road. Parking will be directed along West Drive or in Brookside Park based on availability. The game day motorhome parking fee is $250. Game  day motorhome parking opens at 8 a.m. on January 6.

Prior to game day, overnight motorhome parking will be in Brookside Park, south of the Rose Bowl Stadium, beginning at noon on January 2, and closing at noon on January 7. Rates are based on date of arrival and are as follows: January 2 - $850; January 3 - $700; January 4 - $550; January 5 - $400; January 6 - $250, plus a one-time charge of $50 for tow vehicles.

LIMOUSINES AND BUSES

On game day, bus parking (or any commercial vehicle over 23’ long) is $400 and limousine parking (or any commercial vehicle under 23’ long) is $300.

Buses and limousines with pre-purchased parking passes will be allowed to enter the Rose Bowl Stadium via Seco Street from Linda Vista Avenue or by pre-designed parking directions accompanying the pre-purchased parking pass. All buses and limousines buying parking on game day must enter the Rose Bowl Stadium via Salvia Canyon Road from Linda Vista.

Bus and limousine drop-offs are not available at the Rose Bowl Stadium. In-and-out privileges are prohibited. Once you exit the parking lot, you will be required to pay the full parking fee for buses and limousines upon re-entry.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION

VIZIO BCS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP SHUTTLE AND PARSONS PARKING

On January 6, free shuttle buses will be available at Parsons, at the corner of Union Street and De Lacey Avenue, in Pasadena. The shuttle runs continuously from 1:30 p.m. until approximately two hours after the end of the game.

There is a $45 charge per car at Parsons on game day.  No advance parking will be available for purchase. No bus or RV parking is available for the VIZIO BCS National Championship.

GOLD LINE LIGHT RAIL SERVICE

The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) operates a light rail service to Pasadena via the Metro Gold Line.

If you would like to take the Metro Gold Line to the game, exit the train at Memorial Park Station in Pasadena. Follow the signs for two blocks to the VIZIO BCS National Championship Shuttle pick-up location at Parsons. This shuttle will take you directly to the Rose Bowl Stadium. After the game, simply reverse your route.

METROLINK

Metrolink trains arrive into Union Station where passengers must transfer to the Gold Line to get to the Rose Bowl Stadium.  Visit www.metrolinktrains.com for more information.

DROP-OFF / TAXI ZONE

The designated drop-off, pick-up and taxi zone is on Holly Street between Fair Oaks Avenue and Arroyo Parkway. Passengers may take the free VIZIO BCS National Championship Shuttle to the stadium. There are no provisions for drop-offs and pick-ups at the stadium. All taxis or passenger cars entering the Rose Bowl Stadium area on January 6 will be required to pay the $50 parking fee.

ROSE BOWL STADIUM POLICIES

There are no in-and-out privileges at the Rose Bowl Stadium. Once you exit the stadium, you may not re-enter.

The following items are not permitted into the Rose Bowl Stadium:

Noisemakers including thunder sticks, musical instruments, whistles, air horns, boom boxes, weapons or projectiles, alcoholic beverages, any glass, metal or hard plastic containers of any size, frozen beverage bottles, hard or soft sided coolers of any size, plastic drink containers (except for two liters or less with factory seal intact), backpacks, bags and purses larger than 14" square, boxes or wrapped packages of any size, unsliced fruits or vegetables, animals (other than service animals required because of a disability), balls, toys or sports equipment, banners, signs or flags, helium balloons, laser pointers, poles or sticks, umbrellas and unauthorized cameras with lenses longer than 3.5 inches, interchangeable or telephoto lenses, video cameras, monopods or tripods, skates, skateboards, scooters or bicycles.

Note: Strollers are permitted but must be checked with an usher inside the stadium tunnel or at the Checked Items tent. The VIZIO BCS National Championship and Rose Bowl Stadium are not responsible for checked items.

Disability Services

Parking

Parking for disabled guests is immediately adjacent to the Rose Bowl Stadium in Lot F, B and D. All vehicles entering these parking lots must display a valid handicap placard and be prepared to present identification upon entry. Disabled parking opens at 8 a.m. and is $50 per car.

Paratransit Vehicle Drop-Off Area

Disabled guest drop-off is available at Parsons parking lot free of charge. Guests will then board the VIZIO BCS National Championship Shuttle that will take them directly to the stadium. Disabled guest parking at Parsons is $45 parking charge per car. Shuttle buses are handicapped accessible.

Disabled Guest Seating

Disabled guest seating is available through any of the authorized ticket distributors of the VIZIO BCS National Championship. Please see “Ticket Information” on page 8 for further details. Disabled guests should request seating in the disabled patron seating area when purchasing their tickets. One companion ticket may be purchased for a seat beside each accessible seat. Guests with disabilities who are purchasing tickets through one of the participating institutions should request seating in the disabled patron seating area prior to game day to ensure that seating is available in the area adjacent to

the participating institution’s seats. Remaining seating for disabled guests may be exchanged on game day inside the stadium, on a first-come, first-served basis, by going to our customer service booth, located at Tunnel 28.

Stadium Gate Entry

Guests who are disabled may enter through any of the eight (8) stadium entry gates.

Assistive Listening & Closed Captioning Devices

Assistive listening and closed captioning devices are available to guests upon request. Please visit the Rose Bowl Stadium Administrative Offices between Tunnel 28 and 1 for additional information.
