Keith Jackson Celebration of Life

The Celebration of Life is open to the public and to the press and will include guest speakers, musical performances, and video tributes.  Speakers will include Jackson’s former college football broadcasting colleagues Dan Fouts, Bob Griese, Todd Harris, and Lynn Swann.

In addition, Harvey Hyde, former collegiate coach and radio personality; broadcaster and Hall of Fame basketball player Ann Meyers Drysdale; and Jason Gesser, former quarterback at Washington State University, Jackson’s alma mater, will speak. Tim Brant, who worked with Jackson as a college football analyst at ABC, will serve as master of ceremonies. Additionally, there will be special video tributes from sports commentator Roy Firestone, Tower of Power and Kenny Chesney.

In lieu of flowers, Keith’s wife, Turi Ann, and family suggest donations to organizations that have been important to the Jackson family and to their community. These include:

Keith Jackson Statue at The Rose Bowl Stadium

  • The Rose Bowl Legacy Foundation is fundraising to erect the Keith Jackson Statue.  The statue will be placed at the Stadium, which is the home to so many memorable sports moments made by Jackson throughout his years in broadcasting.
