ABC7 partners with the American Red Cross for a one day typhoon relief drive
at the Rose Bowl and Honda Center
Los Angeles, CA, ABC7 is partnering with the American Red Cross on Wednesday, November 13th to raise funds for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines.  The one day drive will raise money for much needed essentials including food, shelter and clothing for the thousands of individuals and families displaced by the disaster.
“The catastrophic destruction that Typhoon Haiyan has caused is simply unimaginable,” said Arnold J. Kleiner, President and General Manager of KABC-TV.  “We encourage our viewers to join us in providing support, hope and desperately needed care to our friends and family in the Philippines.”
The drive begins Wednesday morning at 4:30AM and continues until 6:30PM.  Personalities from ABC7 Eyewitness News will be at the collection locations.  Donations can be dropped off at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena or the Honda Center in Anaheim throughout the day.  Cash, checks and credit cards will be accepted.
Checks should be made payable to the American Red Cross, with Philippines Typhoon and Flood Relief on the memo line.
In addition to the one day drive, donations can be mailed to the following address.
